Don't forget your shark!!

Rain, rain go away. Come again another day.

It's Friday: field trip day at Wonderland again! Today, despite the rain, we are going to the water park! Luckily it's indoors. Unlucky for me, I have to wear my bathing suit and swim cap in front of all my students and co-workers. That would have been all fine and good in almost ANY of my previous jobs when I worked as a Lifeguard, or swimming instructor. I've become rather comfortable wearing clothes to work in Korea though. Mostly because it hides my body that is roughly twice as large as most Koreans. Oy.

I was informing my blue class yesterday that we were going swimming, and equipping them with important swimming vocabulary such as "bathing suit", "towel", "swim cap", and..."shark". That wasn't my idea. One of the kids yelled it out when I was making a list and so the phrase of the day was "Don't forget your shark"! I had them all laughing their heads off at any given moment. Oh the power of English humor!
